Children's Picture Book - OUT NOW!
In this story, a young hedgehog named Hermi learns, with the help of his friends, the value of friendship and how he is amazing in his own way. This will teach children about being good friends and having confidence in their own abilities instead of comparing themselves to others. The story also introduces true qualities about different animals through the amazing traits the characters themselves display. This will kick off a child’s interest in learning about animals and get them to ask questions to continue to promote learning beyond the story alone.
This children's picture book is recommended for early reading children, ages 3-8.

Young Adult Fantasy Adventure - Work In Progress!
I have always referred to my YA work in progress as "Spark". That's been a temporary title for the main manuscript and others in my planned series (Spark1, Spark2, Spark3). In May of 2022, I was able to curate solid outlines for the 3 books and have been running forward with book 1 ever since. I got a completed draft together in July 2023. I used most of 2024 to make edits and fill in blanks, then I sent it to an editor in November 2024. I've looked at it some in 2025, but didn't push myself since we were prepping for and then had a baby. But I'm ready to get Book 1 out into the world once I get my final edits and polishing applied!

I would consider my YA novel to be a fantasy adventure story. It's got sisters/found family, royalty, good (light) vs. evil (dark), dragons, and sweet romance sprinkled in. Think of something like Pirates of the Caribbean (there will be pirates in Spark2), Avatar: The Last Airbender, How To Train Your Dragon, Maleficent, Lord of the Rings, The Princess Bride, and other stories or movies where adventure is prominent, love is true, people are betrayed, swordfights and big battles happen, magic is everywhere, and good triumphs over evil. It might be a bunch of clichés or "old news", but I love things like that. My books are storytelling for the sake of a good story and fun characters. You will NOT find anything overly gory, scary, sexualized, or modern-day politically motivated from me. Not my vibe.
